En AAP Primadomus, nuestro centro de rescate de animales en españa, ofrecemos un programa de voluntariado con primates para personas apasionadas por la protección animal. Si quieres contribuir al cuidado de primates y ayudarlos en su rehabilitación, esta es tu oportunidad de marcar la diferencia.
Estamos inmensamente agradecidos por todo este tiempo dedicado de personas desinteresadas como tú que han querido hacer la vida de los animales y el planeta, un poquito mejor. Gracias al compromiso de nuestros voluntarios, podemos ofrecer un entorno seguro para la rehabilitación de primates rescatados del tráfico ilegal, mantenidos como animales de compañía o explotados en circos y otras formas de entretenimiento. Vuestro apoyo es clave para garantizar el bienestar de estos animales.
Buscamos voluntarios para el CUIDADO ANIMAL en el Área de Primates, a partir de diciembre de 2025, con un compromiso mínimo de 3 meses.
Voluntariado en el Área de Primates
En AAP nos aseguramos de que tu estancia sea enriquecedora, brindándote apoyo y formación para que puedas contribuir de manera efectiva al cuidado y la recuperación de los animales.
Tu rol en el voluntariado con primates
Como voluntario en Área de Primates del centro de rescate, desempeñarás un papel fundamental en el cuidado y bienestar de los animales, siempre bajo la supervisión de un cuidador experto. Trabajamos en la recuperación física y psicológica de los animales, para socializar a los primates, fundamentalmente macacos de Berbería, y conformar grupos estables, dándoles el cuidado que necesitan.
La mayor parte de tu trabajo se centrará en la limpieza de las instalaciones, tanto dentro como alrededor de las instalaciones de los primates (70% del trabajo diario), asegurando un entorno higiénico y seguro para ellos. Además, colaborarás en la preparación de enriquecimiento ambiental, una tarea clave para estimular su comportamiento natural y mejorar su calidad de vida.
Requisitos para el voluntariado con primates
- Tener, mínimo 18 años.
- Pasión por el bienestar animal y buena condición física.
- Nivel básico de inglés (hablado y escrito).
- Capacidad de trabajar de manera ordenada e independiente, así como en equipo.
- Compromiso con protocolos de higiene y seguridad.

Volunteer at AAP’s Primate Area in Spain
At AAP Primadomus, our animal rescue center in Spain, we offer a primate volunteer program for people passionate about animal protection. If you want to contribute to the care of primates and help them in their rehabilitation, this is your opportunity to make a difference.
We are immensely grateful for all the time dedicated by selfless people like you who have wanted to make the lives of animals and the planet a little better. Thanks to the commitment of our volunteers, we are able to provide a safe environment for the rehabilitation of primates rescued from illegal trafficking, kept as pets or exploited in circuses and other forms of entertainment. Your support is key to ensuring the welfare of these animals.
We are looking for volunteers for ANIMAL CARE in the Primate Area, starting December 2025, with a minimum commitment of 3 months.
Your role
We are looking for a volunteer the help us in the Primates Department where, besides the physical and mental recovery, we aim for socializing the primates in stable groups (mostly Barbary macaques) forming new families. And once stable, we give them the care they need. You will work under the supervision of an experienced animal caretaker and will mainly focus on the cleaning activities in and around the animal enclosures (this is 70% of the daily work). In addition, you will make enrichment for the animals, help with the furnishing of the accommodation and with minor technical maintenance. You will also help with reporting peculiarities regarding the animals’ nutrition, behavior and health.
Your baggage
- You have reached the minimum age of 18 and you are EU resident.
- You like to work hard and you have affinity with the objectives of AAP.
- You have a basic knowledge of spoken and written English.
- You are in good physical health.
- You are accurate and can work independently as well as in a (fluctuating) team.
- You work in an orderly and hygienic manner.
